In response to COVID-19 Pandemic, the Village of Riverton is taking the following precautionary measures:

Village Hall will be closed to the public May 1 – 31.  The walk up service window inside Village Hall is closed.  All business with Village Hall will be conducted at the drive up window, by telephone 217-629-9122 or email villageofriverton@yahoo.com

All events scheduled in the Community Room through June 30 is cancelled.

Village Library is closed through May 31.

Wheeland Park is closed to camping through May 31

In addition, we encourage all citizens to:

Maintain a minimum of 6 ft contact between themselves and other people

Wash hands and sanitize per CDC guidance

Seek medical attention if you have signs or symptoms that may be COVID-19
