For Immediate Release— The Mayor of Riverton has declared a Snow Emergency for the Village of Riverton beginning at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 and extending through 6 pm on Thursday, February 3, 2022. During this period, Snow Emergency Routes will be enforced. Residents are being asked to remove their vehicles off of snow emergency routes. There will be no on-street parking on snow emergency routes during the declared snow emergency period. The Village of Riverton appreciates everyone's cooperation as our crews work to take care of the snowfall that is anticipated for this area.
